Neither of them is wrong about themselves, both are reading only half the chart.

Having Mars in Taurus means you take a long time to get angry and, once angry, do not go back. The engine starts slowly, and afterwards it does not stop. This person takes months to react to something that bothers them every day, and when they finally react, the decision is already made and is not up for negotiation.

Mars is the planet of action; in Taurus it gains weight and patience. This person works at a steady pace, is not hurried by anyone's pressure and has a physical and mental endurance that startles whoever tried to wear them out.

And here is what hardly any text writes down: their slowness to begin is the same thing as the impossibility of stopping them afterwards. They are not two traits, they are one. Whoever mistakes their calm for a lack of strength finds out late: Mars in Taurus is the hardest of the twelve to knock down, precisely because it never ran.

It is the Mars return, and it works like the restart of a cycle, the urge to begin something else tends to land there, and that is no coincidence.
